Screenleap screen sharing tool

Screen sharing has become an ideal method for training purposes or collaborating on projects with participants at distant locations. It offers you the flexibility to wirelessly communicate with people around the world. Screenleap simplifies it even furthermore. The program offers two ways to share your screen with others

1] Share screen via browser

Just visit the website, click to share your screen button, and you are good to go. However, note that this method allows you to use Screenleap without signing in. As such, the time allowed to share your screen is limited (for 40 minutes). Plus, you can share the screen with a maximum of 2 viewers. To override this limit, you’ll need to sign up for a free account to enable longer shares with more people. Creating an account will allow 40 minutes of screen sharing every day. So, go to the ‘Pricing & Signup‘ section and select a plan (Free plan). When selected, it will raise the time limit to up to 2 hours and allow you to share the screen with up to 8 viewers.

Once done, it will prompt you to share your screen publicly or privately. Select the desired option to get a 9-digit code.

Enter the code in the space provided on the webpage, and this will enable another person to see your screen.

If you would like to share the limited space, simply click the drop-down menu, adjacent to ‘Share entire screen’ option and select ‘Share inside rectangle’.

2] Share screen via Screenleap for Windows app

If you are on a Windows computer, you can choose to share your screen using Screenleap for Windows app.

The Windows app requires a one-time download and installation. Once installed, the Screenleap icon will be added to the notification area of your Taskbar, and your screen share will start, automatically. When you finish your screen share, the Windows app will continue to run so you will not have to download or install it again. Now, whenever you want, you can start a new screen share by either
