If the Observation game keeps crashing or freezing on Windows 11/10 PC, try the following solutions to resolve the issue. Let’s go with the first solution.

1] Update your Graphics Driver

Once the driver is updated, try launching the game and see if it works.

2] Run the game as an admin

Make sure that Observation is allowed to access all of the system resources in order to perform well, and you can also disable apps that can compete for the resources. Right-clicking on the game or launcher and selecting Run as administrator can work, but you can also configure their properties to always open with administrative privileges. Follow the given steps to accomplish the same: Running the game as admin can hopefully allow you to play the game without any more issues.

3] Quit tasks running in the background

Therefore it’s better to disable the program that can give competition to your game for resources. Follow the prescribed steps to do the same: Launch the game to see whether you can play the game without being hit with issues or not. If you do, see the next solution.

5] Disable overlay

Overlays can eventually cause the said issue and it’s best to disable them. You can follow the steps to fix the crashing or freezing issues. If you have some other app with Overlay, such as Discord, disable them as well.

6] Allow the game through the firewall

If your Firewall is blocking any of the game files or the game itself, then the game will not load on your system. Therefore if you are using Windows Defender, allow the game through the firewall, if you are using third-party antivirus software whitelist the game.

7] Troubleshoot in clean boot

There is a possibility of your game crashing due to overclocking. You can delete the overclocking apps, however, we would advise you to first perform a Clean Boot while keeping the game’s services active. This way you’ll know the cause behind the said error and remove the culprit. You will have to manually enable services to stumble upon the troublemaker.

During installation, it’s possible for installation or files to get corrupted. In that case, none of the above-mentioned solutions will resolve the issue, and the only way is to delete the game and reinstall it again.
