Firstly, you need to download the FFmpeg software on your Windows 11/ 10 PC. Now, Unzip the downloaded FFmpeg folder using a ZIP extractor or Windows built-in compress tool. Next, open the extracted FFmpeg folder and then open the Command Prompt in this folder by typing CMD in the address bar and pressing the Enter button.
After that, type a command in the below syntax and then press the Enter button. The ffplay.exe application is basically used to play and watch media files using FFmpeg. So, you need to mention this application with RTSP URL to play RTSP stream. An example of one such command is written below:
As you press Enter to execute the above command, it will open up a video player window where you will be able to watch the RTSP stream. You can use the spacebar to play/ pause the video, double click on the window to play the RTSP video in fullscreen, and use other keyboard and mouse gestures to control video playback.
