Disable or Enable Alternate Calendars in Calendar app
The process involved is simple: In this basic step, open your Windows 11/10 Calendar app. You can simply use the Start menu or Search box to open the Calendar app. When the Calendar app window is opened, click on the Settings icon. It is present on the bottom left side, just next to Microsoft To-Do app icon.
A right-sidebar will open showing different settings. In that sidebar, click on Calendar Settings as highlighted in the image above. Under Calendar Settings, you will see options such as Change First Day of Week, Days in Work Week, Working Hours, etc. Scroll down the options and Alternate Calendars section will be visible to you. Use the Enable option to turn on alternate calendars.
After that, a drop-down menu will activate. Use that menu and select any of the available languages for an alternate calendar. Once the language is selected, you can choose a calendar related to that language using another drop-down menu. Most of the languages have more than one calendar, while other languages have only one calendar.
